I thought I would briefly expand on where I hope to head if God accepts my blueprints for how I want things to play out. Easiest way is to give the links of the sites I have up that best tell my story.

I first started working in the non-profit sector, first with older and handicapped adults and then with foster children. I guess that's when I knew the importance of the command to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction.

I've then owned an Internet company the past 25 years: https://www.taylorcreativeweb.com

During this time I have have worked with various non-profit agencies and churches both in web site development and marketing with an emphasis on making their sites a dynamic outreach in reaching their constituents.

A little over a year ago I moved from a house to an apartment here off hwy. 74. Haven't lived in an apartment in many many years - interesting transition. Along with the house move I wanted to change careers and move out of the Internet and work with wood - driftwood style and repurposing furniture, etc. Here's the site: https://www.driftawaydesign.com/

Well, God had other plans and in the past year. I've somewhat changed direction combining some type of a community based ministry (?) here in the complex working with kids and elderly along with my work. All this virus stuff has put the brakes on temporarily but I believe it just means letting God continue to steer the ship in a new direction and just go with it. The Journey is still wide open and it's really a trip watching God direct things and seeing the results (usually contrary to the original blueprints of life I had mapped out for Him). But that only happens when I get off my ivory tower.

Hope this helps with understanding my "vision".

All the best,

Pops*

*The name "Pops" is in loving memory of my dad Duane "Pops" Taylor. It's what my daughter called him up to his going Home and years after.
